Lovely guests,
Use this blog to let all those prospective guests know a little more about the trip they are about to take....
Please let them know of personal stories and experiences, what you liked, what your stay was like, etc.
We would appreciate this a lot, and we're anxious to see what type of dialog is opened up...
Thanks!

this place is everything that the hype makes it be and more! I promise you that you will love yourself for making the decision to go there.
Vunderbar!
I wondered through here with some friends in 1999 and I still think it has been the best place I have traveled to since then. Amazing place. Magical. I will come back someday.
This place is truly something special. We had planned some daytrips before we got there, but then ended up hunkering down at Casa del Mundo for three days! We enjoyed kayaks around the lake, swimming, and great dinners with great company. Somehow we even finagled a free massage at the hotel in a neighboring town that was hosting a yoga training retreat for some yoga teachers.
We visited Casa del Mundo in 2006. It was our last adventurous vacation before our daughter was born, and will remain a very special place in my heart for years to come. We can't wait to take her there someday!!
I spent three days and two nights at La Casa del Mundo in October 2006. It is the ultimate place to decompress, relax and enjoy all of the amenities of this magnificent spot. I had a room with a 180 degree view of the lake and volcanoes. I still feel a sense of loss at having to leave.
With a great staff, spectacular meals enjoyed by people from all over the world and, a location that only the very rich usually have access to, La Casa del Mundo is truly the house of the world. If we could sit the leaders of the world down at this spot, they could resolve war, hunger and violence.
As one said before me, I will return!
